For this short week we will begin by looking at graphing and solving one-step inequalities. We will then move on to solving two step inequalities. Students also are given short phrases, sentences and real world situations. They must be able to translate them into one or two step inequalities. The only thing to stress is that when you have to multiply or divide each side of the inequality by a negative value the inequality symbol must be reversed. This week will hopefully conclude our unit on equations and inequalities. An exam over the unit will be the week of the 6th-10th.
Last week they received their project for our Algebra Unit. It is due November 21st. I have attached the guidelines and instructions. Comments are closed.
