Can you believe that we are starting quarter four?!
This week we will be continuing our work with the Renaissance. Students will work through this unit as if they are inquirers. We will be using technology and discussions to uncover the importance and the impact of the Ren.
School note: All students will have the opportunity to dress in no SSA on Thursday and Friday.

Hello there, 7th grade family. While I enjoyed my hour of sleep last week, I am truly looking forward to getting back into our routine this week. We will be beginning our fifth unit. Like previous units, this unit focuses on life in the medieval ages. The focus of this month will be on Western Europe. (Yes- that is the castles, knights, Black Plague, and Crusades!)
Below you will find the vocabulary that will be used for the entire unit. There are 23 words. We will not go over them all at once. They will be revealed over the entirety of the unit, but students are expected to have explored these words through a four-square model by the end of the week. This is due on Friday, January 12.
Monday – stations (geo & vocabulary)
Tuesday – The impact of the fall of the Roman Empire
Wednesday – Charlemagne
Thursday – Feudalism
Friday – Mind your manors all vocabulary due today

This week we will be revisiting rules and procedures in addition to diving right into analyzing primary and secondary sources. Please note that I will be posting here instead of Schoology until further notice. There have been some errors with the site and I am working to get my page back up and running.
Below you will find work for the week. Parents, please note that there is a letter that I am sending home to you regarding classroom notebooks.
Have a great week!
