April 10 -13

As you may already be aware, most of our classroom work will be focused on preparing for TN Ready. However, there will still be some work for grades leading up to the big test.
For instance, students should be submitting a compare and contrast essay to me ASAP in which they analyze two different texts. These are formal typed assignments with the proper MLA heading.
Student are getting a new vocabulary list Monday. The test on these words will be on the following Monday: accentuate, aspire, bamboozle, boisterous, commemorate, despondent, divulge, flourish, hypocrite, inadvertently, introspection, laconic.
Students will also be answering text dependent questions and writing about a chapter in How To Win Friends and Influence People.
